vacumm loud sucking noise on boost
 

no loss of power, all pipes are attched and secure, but when i hit boost i get what i can only describe as a vacum cleaner sucking noise under bonnet, sounds right under dash. sounds great, but wasnt there before, not moved anything. any ideas.

no loss of power, car has fmic and spf air fillter dump valve and boost gauge in dash so vacumm pipe does run through bulk head, but gauge is working fine

could it possible be a weak spring on boost and im loosing air through dump valve, in which case id need a harder spring.

people who have heard it said it sounded like a super charge.

sounds like a boost leak from somewhere. No splits an any hoses? Could be dump valve. What sort of boost is it running?

is your boost gauge dash mounted? does the gauge read correct boost? just thinking with you saying it sounds like its coming from under dash, that maybe there is a leak to the gauge, u wouldnt feel any differance in power but it will read wrong boost.

iv removed boost gauge hose and run it, still same noise. any other ideas, only thing i can do now is inspect all hoses etc.
