Unread threads not in bold

Why has the unread threads not in bold topic been moved to a read only archive? It's still not been resolved.

Or does this mean that it's not going to be?

I was wondering that too

Yea what's happening with this please Stu ?

Hi Guys,
We are monitoring the performance change to see what affect it has over a length of time, which is why it was changed to per forum visit to start with.

On large forums it tends to have a very marked effect on performance and as such it may be staying as it is.

There are a huge list of things that need attention on here at the moment and Im afraid this one simply isnt a priority in the grand scheme of things.

Great

It may not be important "in the grand scheme of things" to the mods/admin, but it appears to be important to the users. :cuckoo:

Absolutely, one of the most important features to have. It use to work just fine on the old dbase, why does it cause a performance issue now with new improved software?

Sonic' 16 March 2009 10:54 PM

The site was a lot faster before the upgrade and before the bold removal issue

Strange that, I thought a busy forum was good for advertising revenue. Are you saying IB didn't buy it to make money??

This is by far the slowest site I visit now. Add that to how hard it is to navigate and I think you'll have to agree, things are not good at the moment. :(

No response to this?

Not good.
