Hiya chaps,

Sofar this year, it seems that the biggest (and most successful) meets have been joint ventures between various areas :D

This year i have been to:

1) Coventry meet goes to leicester (50 odd cars :D )
2) Sussex & Surrey meet (50 odd cars :D )

Both these meets were very enjoyable and because they were well organised, they actually looked after themselves.

I believe that the key to the events being well attended and organised is that they were essentially multiple "mini meets" that congregated in one central point. And also because it was possible to view attendance via scoobynet.

What i propose is the following:

Sunday 7th April 13:00hrs
Venue :TBA but will be within 15 miles of Nottingham

I would like volunteers to organise "mini meets" in the following areas with a view to getting to the final venue for 13:00 ish:

Derby
Leicester
Grantham
Lincoln
Coventry
Birmingham
Northampton
Chesterfield
Sheffield

If you are upto organising a little meet in those areas on the 7th of April with the point of the meet being to join up with other gatherings then can you let me know by posting on here or mailing me.

I reckon we have got plenty of time and i appreciate that there will be people who cannot make it due to prior commitments. Sorry :(

I will plan a route out for folks to go on a drive once they get to the final meeting place, if they feel the need to drive, it will not however be compulsary, i.e if you want to stay at the pub and chat, you will be more than welcome to.

If you want to just attend, put ya name down on Scoobynet with the type of car you envisage turning up in and let's get a bit of a list going.

Me and Mrs CJ could be up for this. Get back from hols on the Friday so after a rest on Saturday a cruise/meet could be just what the doctor ordered. I'll try and round up some Shropshire peepe(won't take long, we're only a handful :D) and we could organise to meet in Brum on the way across.

Mikey, hi there mate,i surpose i should not do this but i volunteer NEAL from our area (COV) because he has done a grand job up till now AND AT THE MO HE IS ON HOLIDAY,so i will confirm this at sundays meet, so i bet we have around 10-20 cars up for this, sorry you can not make sunday hope you do well rallying (co- driveing)and finish, i know the problems this has.
