Page refreshes & or call centre fixes

Stu, despite the call centre fixes (lol) and the Ctrl +F5 approach,

select images do not load. and when they do its abitary what will or wont.

What i can tell you behind the page load, there is a hive of activity, with black areas rapidly filling portions of the screen.

we had the same issue when Simon did his last upgrade :) lol,

if i recall, it was some of the "options " enabled his end, to limit what changes / views we could do / see our end.

why not roll back to the old system, and then bug hunt the new system at your lesuire

A roll back would be considered if the old software/forum actually worked (and trust me, it had plenty of problems ) ;)

Of course, I await to be corrected. :D

Might be a stupid question and one that may have been asked before, but why is this all being tested on a live system, why couldnt all these bugs be ironed out on a test system, instead of lots of problems for us mere mortal users

Im at the point of giving up on SN, questions go ignored and unanswered, bugs go unfixed, speed issues go ignored/unanswered/unfixed

Too many problems on a live system, I would have been sacked if I went about this approach with our customers on live systems

Sad state of affairs really and a shame :(

Would you like to list the things that are under test please? I cant think of any at all. Everything here is a working live environment that a very small percentage of users are experiencing some minor difficulties with.

1) questions go ignored and unanswered,
2) bugs go unfixed
3) speed issues go ignored/unanswered/unfixed
Again, please elaborate on those points if you don't mind.

So your employer wold ignore the fact that only around 5% of users had an issue and 95% were happy with the changes you had introduced, and he would literally sack you?

With all due respect I would be looking for a new employer...
