What would you buy with around 5-6 grand.

Thinking of changing my impreza for something a bit different, i could potentially have around 5-6 grand.

I'm looking for something fast, reasonably new, and possibly convertible.

Anything anyone can recommend?

Bit older but an option

That 330Ci looks fantastic for the money

If it was my money I might be tempted by one of these & a remap but prefer saloons/hatches to Convertibles:

Auto Trader UK - BMW 3 SERIES 320d ES 4dr Diesel Saloon

Or one of these plus a remap:
Auto Trader UK - VOLKSWAGEN Golf 1.9 GT TDi 150

Or the following if going for Petrol and not Diesel:
Auto Trader UK - RENAULT CLIO 2.0 16V Renault sport 182 3dr

Or if a convertible:
Auto Trader UK - BMW Z3 2.8

I like those GTA Sportwagons. I think they only imported 100 estates. I had a look at a GTA saloon 18 months ago, but it seemed to have spent half of its life at the dealer having something or other repaired. I also missed out on a perfect very low mileage Sportwagon, which was actually beyond my budget, but it sure looked like a fine car for someone.

S Type R for £6K,that's madness :D

I'd be all over that if fuel cost didn't matter.
