idle gone strange, diy build 400 mile in
 

just covered 400 miles of new build, but for some reason tonight, i went up a duel carriage way for about 2 miles, upto 4k in 2nd 3rd n 4th and accelerated up too 5k nice n quiet in 5th, but then idle started going mad, up n down, and then put foot on clutch to park up and car cut out, done it 3 times now, very weird.

just had a play with fpr and throttle cable and seems to be idling nice, bit cammy and inj tick makes me paranoid lol but i dont have any heat shields on and air filter doesnt have a direct cold air feed now, so im thinking it may be hot air being sucking in cause it to be iratic. but i drove 30 miles from work up n down rev range to 3k for 400 miles and never had this issue, although today i did redo my parallel fuel mod due to leaks and run it above manifold for easier access, no leaks now,also had to take some parts of intercooler, so dunno if something is leaking air in.

any ideas, getting worried as it a self build, but its been great untill tonight.

well may av found problem, i blew intecooler pipe today aout 8 times, mate cleaned pipes for me and it seems its left the pipe surface slippery. so it slides of on boost. not fixed it yet as im ill as ****. but gonna av 2 if im gonna go work tomorrow in it.

did the same thing with my old gt-r.. oil round the lip of the pipe jst made it slide off.. was running over 2bar tho :D
