front mount cleaning?.

just wondered if anyones got any ideas on how to clean my front mount intercooler.i have mesh in front of it on the bumper,so i cannot get to it with a brush.was just wondering if theres any cleaning detergent that i could spray on to it,and then lightly pressure wash the core?.

(TFR) Traffic film remover

mix up solution 1/2 an 1/2 spray on intercooler leave for 5 mins, gently jet wash off..
or go to a car valeting company, they should have this, there are 2 types 1 yellow 1 pink,go with pink as much better product,my husband uses this for work..

Be VERY careful using high pressure near a FMIC, it can bend the fins BADLY in my experience......TFR is quite good, though air conditioner cleaner is also well suited to the job......

:thumb: Agree, would also do the job,but on my hubbys pressure washer at work, turning the nozzle you get a fine spray,so protecting the fins..

Both R222 Total Auto Wash and Meguiars Super Degreaser (cut 4:1) also do a great job in this respect, and have a multitude of other good uses too (such as wheel arch cleaning, general engine bay cleaning, etc). Links here for more information...
