Page looks skinny now.

Just a quicky here as this is my first time visiting since yesterday afternoon.

Can I ask which setting needs to be tweaked in order for the forum to fill my 15" normal monitor? At the moment I have about 3/4" of grey either side of the screen, like when you watch an old 4/3 picture on 16/9 widescreen. Can't take screen shots but took this quickly with my digital camera to show you.

Also, when I go to what is the new home page (with poll on one side for example), the page is to opposite; it's now wider than my screen and annoyingly you have to scroll across to see the 1-2" extra of the page.

Any mods/admin help on this, or are these the new settings?

Cheers

Andy :)

Stu

I will post my other thoughts on the new look of the forum in due course as I know it is only early days and you are in the process of ironing out all the bugs etc, but for starters this is what a mac user using the latest version of Safari gets. You will notice I echo Andy's comments above hence posting this on his thread.

A screenshot of the forum (andy's post) which shows in the bugs/general I have to widen the browser to see it all

Yet when I click onto the main forum, I get the centered forum with the grey banding

Also of some concern is the fact that I have all these non displayed images which show up as blue ?
I run a forum which uses 3.7 as well and am guessing it is something to do with custom style sheets etc

Must be an issue that vbulletin has with safari because here it is on a mac but in firefox

Also I see you can resize the page to get rid of the grey banding

Thanks fella, but not really the issue here. I just want rid of the grey banding, and now I can see it isn't just me with incorrect settings.

Cheers for the link though, will save that :thumb:

My screen looks like this on my 22" monitor, though the settings are set for 'centered' in my USER CP. Is there something that I'm missing?

i agree, it's getting very annoying. this thread i've been posting on is a great example https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...-good-buy.html, the page is all over the place. add on one side, text on the other, a massive pic that's not been resized.

i fully understand the switch to a new forum layout and the same reason is rolled out that it's being tweaked/ worked on, but why release something that's far from ready?
