Tiny 03 March 2009 06:09 AM

Go to last post button works :D

And it's nice & quick :thumb:

John1uk 03 March 2009 06:13 AM

absolutly pants....vbadvanced is CMPS (Content Management & Portal System) is an advanced portal / CMS that allows you to easily include elements from your vBulletin message board on your web site's homepage, or other pages. It's module system (w/ 14 default modules included) makes almost every aspect of the software easy to customize and change through your Admin CP. Easily create and manage new pages with your own custom content with the ability to change every setting on a per-page basis. Integrating CMPS modules with your vBulletin forum pages can also be done with no file modifications required.

They have made scoobynet look like any other cheap or none profit organizeation IMHO.

they should of stuck with vbulletin 3.8.1 wich has photo albums already intergrated. the hacks that have been installed here are good but should be used in IMO for Forums that are none profit or brand new.

The scooby net forum has gone from a proffesional business to a forum that looks like its run by amatures.

if scoobynet are using hacks on the forum, i wonder if they have installed the "Read pms" hack.

Tiny 03 March 2009 06:13 AM

Upgrade is still not complete , More great features still to come

Where's the smilies gone in the reply box ?

Budgie 03 March 2009 06:22 AM

Seems quick enough, but I haven't got a button for "go to last post" only got the "go to first new post":wonder:

I do like the multi quote button. That saves a bit of time.:)

BRI4N 03 March 2009 07:31 AM

Have we lost the "reply" button? I can only Quote or got to scroll right to the bottom of the page to "Quick Reply"

Phil 03 March 2009 07:50 AM

Can't seem to find us on the front page got here via www.essexscoobycrew.com

Phil 03 March 2009 07:52 AM

Scrub that found us

Lost all our cars and logo's which we paid for :(

stara 03 March 2009 08:26 AM

i think it is ok, just different, we wanted a proper search and it is here, we wanted trader feedback and it's here, we wanted a different pic than cockney wideboys impreza, as nice as it is. does it for me.

Cornelius 03 March 2009 08:28 AM

What's the Trader score all about??

slipstream_uk 03 March 2009 08:31 AM

Its growing on me, miss some of the old features like "logos". When the bugs are ironed out it should be pretty good I think.
The only thing that bugs me is the "garage", you have to pay more ££ to use it.

spally 03 March 2009 08:36 AM

logged on this morning and thought i had had a bad trip!! lol

dosent look as "nice" as the old version, but as like any change in life, it will take time but we will forget what the old version even looked like over time.

baz69birds 03 March 2009 09:29 AM

where are all your little pics of your motors that used to be under your names??
bit confussing with the new heading...
but got here in the end..

V4JDMSTi 03 March 2009 09:35 AM

not a fan. looks cheap, adverts are still too big imo and pics aren't resizing. Plus i paid out to have a logo at the side and now it's gone. What a waste of money that was.

Tiny, what are orange members meant to be getting over standard users? I've not had an official email explaining that what i paid for will be change / removed.

Peter 300 03 March 2009 11:29 AM

You'll get used to it...............:D

Peter 300 03 March 2009 11:32 AM

Its like the MLR web site now...............:D

TomR555 03 March 2009 12:39 PM

Wheres me scoob gone :wonder:

<----------------:wonder:

Looie 03 March 2009 12:55 PM

Took me a while to get to here, but finally did it..... saved the link to my desktop so I can go straight to our forum - much easier, and as I don't look at much else on here that will suffice for me till all the bugs are sorted out....

Evolution Stu 03 March 2009 02:26 PM

Give us channce to get it all ironed out guys.

You obviously don't know what you are talking about. The old system was hacked to death and the whole point of this upgrade was to upgrade TO a higher version, not from one. This one is Te most up to date tested stable release available and comes with a lot of integrated features, like the photo gallery you just called a hack. lol :lol1:

53 03 March 2009 02:33 PM

I like it, but I am easily pleased :D

Only thing I would like is a snazy avatar but this is disabled in my UserCP ? All in good time :top:

Mrs spec'c'57 03 March 2009 03:55 PM

I like it also gives it a cleaner look with out as much clutter everywhere, I didn't have trouble finding the forum as I have a shortcut in my favourites :D :thumb:

WRX_Dazza 03 March 2009 04:41 PM

much better and heaps quicker.

ads are a pain but hey, thats the nature of the business.

amateurs with little or no coding ability use older bog standard vbulletin, so why drive a mini, when there are bentleys about.

looking forward to more features and better uptime :)

he who embraces the light shall defeat the dark

edited to clarify ;)

Please dont insult my intelegance Stu. I work with vbulletin day in day out. A hack is a addon, something that VB do not support, or a 3rd party modification that has been added to vbulletin.

Which in your case is the free vbandance portal system that has been installed. Yes it has a lot of features, better functions and that ability to add more columns, and video feeds direct from the admincp. Vbulletin is a hack, its an addon. VB will not support any hacks/mods that have been installed.

Vbadvanced for those that don't know cannot be instaled without VBulletin.

The photo galery you pay for, which imo is great as i have installed it on many websites. So before you start jumping the gun and telling me i don't know what i am talking about think again.

BRI4N 03 March 2009 04:57 PM

Ooh, just noticed, our little scooby avatars are back.:luxhello:

Phil 03 March 2009 04:57 PM

John before you dig yourself a huge hole mate

Internet Brands OWN YES OWN VBulletin ;)

WRX_Dazza 03 March 2009 05:01 PM

ps: i did mean the old version plug and go !!! lol :)

There are endless streams of 3rd party addons for all applications and in my personal opinion they just go to make the original backbone app more useable and tuneable.

These are the developers that force manufacturers to add functionality and keep them on their toes. so thats no bad thing.
