Has anyone used Waring Lawns

My lawn is starting to look quite patchy in parts thinks it where the dog keeps going for a poo bloody thing. Anyway recieved a flyer through the door today from Waring lawns which consists of 4 treatments a year and the price is about £15-£20 for my lawn each time and i dont think thats not to bad.

Has anyone used them. Any reviews

Thanks

Do they say what the treatment is ? If its just sprinkling some grass seed and food on the bald patches, you can do this yourself with a box from the garden centre for a few quid.

your not going to get a great deal of treatment for 15-20 quid,as said above go to your local garden centre or similar and do it your self.

I can thoroughly recommend Lawn Care, Lawn Maintenance, Lawn Treatment, Lawn Advice Service - GreenThumb

Made huge difference to our lawn and identified, and treated, some problems including an infestation of crane fly larvae (not killed off by mild winter of 2007) and Red Thread.

More likely to be dog pee. Dilute with hose in summer.

50 quid

Is that a really big lawn then?

For the standard service we pay £17 quid a time which is back lawn - average size say 30m x 12m plus area in front and sides of house. dl

Hi David

I'll have a look on Google earth for a quick pic of our house ... It's not a big lawn :)
