Anyone bought a watch from Seiya or Higuchi recently?

I am quite taken by the Seiko SBPP005 which is not available in the UK.

Any idea how much import duty etc. I could end up paying?

3% import tax and 17.5% VAT :(

Didn't get stung for any import tax when I got a G Shock from Japan but got VERY stung (charged well over what it should have been) when I bought an RC car from Oz.

That's a nice watch.

It's wearing well.

I ended up paying tax on an amount somewhere between the true cost and the value written on the outside of the packaging, so I didn't complain;)

You could do with ringing your ISP, your upload speed is terrible
