Anti Roll Bar

Hi Guys,

Need some advice / Info if possible.......

Car has been in for its MOT today, and it has come up as an advisory that the O/S anti roll bar link is worn and will need replacing.

They have given me a price of 130 inc VAT for this doing.

Please can someone tell me if this is a good price, or not.

Or does anyone know where I can get it done cheaper? It is the credit crunch after all..........

Or where I can buy one, and do it myself ( as long as it aint a big job )

Many Thanks,

Chris L

You can pick up a set of Whiteline ones for about £80.

I'll second the Whiteline suggestion. They also make a cheaper pressed steel replacement (as opposed to the OEM plastic part).

Camskill also stock them. BTW OE item from a motor factor is about £30 and if it took more than half hour labour to fit I'd want why. £130 looks excessive.

The rose jointed motorsport links tighten the front of the car up to a surprising extent, OE items must flex a lot. Well worth doing as a mod.
