Track Day Tyres

I know there have been many posts but I am going to ask anyway.

I have a MY06 Spec C, I have bought it for track days only (no real road use, too hard core) & want to buy a full set of 235-40-18 tyres.

Which tyre would you recommend, I want a balance between good grip both in the wet & dry & also a tyre that is going to last a few track days & not wear out after a few laps.

Where is the cheapest place to buy (I guess mail order is the cheapest), I can get them fitted no problem, SIDC have the Yokos A048 are these cheap ?

Cheers

i use toyo 888,s
as do all the time attack cars
i find the grip levels superb
not been on a wet track with them yet
unless it rains tomorrow
but have had no issues with them
as for price, anywhere from 500-700 the set

I brought a second hand set of wheels and us second hand slicks that I brought off ebay. Seem to remember them been £150 for 2 sets. I'll see if I can find the chaps ebay user name.

This is the chap.

I spotted those slicks on ebay a while ago. Are they any good?
