Different Dojo
 

I train in Shotokan Karate up in Suffolk but living in London during the week missing out on a few sessions, so I found a club about 5 mins from the office where I can train on Tuesdays/Thursdays.

Boy is it different :eek: Whereas I might take a full-step on a particular Kata, its a 1/2 step here, then instead of a push away, a punch or shoulder high its waist high!

Basics are much the same but with some subtle differences.

Problem is that I'm spending so much time trying to show I'm not a complete klutz that its tough as anything lol! Problem is that when I go back to Suffolk on Friday, I have to forget all the changes LOL

I love karate :D

Wax off, wax on instead of wax on, wax off? :D

I really enjoyed it but eventually got bored once I hit brown belt.

So took up kickboxing which suited me much better.

It was the same at Cobra Kai Dojo, the Sensei was a right n*bber though.
