tyres & lowering??

Hello,

ive got some 18" alloys for my classic impreza i want to lower it on 50mm H&R springs will i get away with a 225 size tyre or am i better off with a 215?

215/35/18 is the correct size IIRC to maintain the correct rolling diameter, also 225's may rub.
