Had my wingmirrors stolen from my classic!!!!

The classic Impreza parts theif has been round my house again, This time my wingmirrors have gone bye bye!!! Woke up this morning to find that someone had ripped my wingmirrors off, didnt find any bits on the floor, and I couldnt find them chucked in any bushes, so they must have been stolen.

F*cking sick and tired of replacing parts off my car, because some low life tramp cant afford to go to a salvage yard and get his own parts for his car!!! This is the 2nd classic ive owned and Ive never had any other problems with any other high performance cars that ive left outside my house including 3 Evo's newage Impreza's etc!!! For some reason evertime I get a classic parts seem to go missing from them.

My last classic had the same problem, I had crystal lights, sidelights, indicators, front grille etc ripped from my car, not just once this happened, but 3 times until I was spending loads of money out to keep replacing them, in the end I was forced to sell the car about 5 years ago!!!

The upside to this though is that Ive now cleaned my garage out and the Scooby will be in there every night!!!!:luvlove:

Search a bit further afield - park, churchyard, pub garden, whatever.

And ask at lost property at your local nick.

A neighbour with an M3 has his mirrors nicked. I can't remember the exact figure but it cost over £1000 to replace and repaint them. And rather than lose his NCB, he paid for the replacements himself.

The day after he got the car back, the local traffic warden who had been on holiday mentioned he'd seen some mirrors in the police station lost property. They'd been found in the churchyard next door to my neighbour and the vicar had handed them in a week previously!

At least my neighbour had spares for the next time his mirrors went walkabout!

Must have done some damage, removing them completely from the outside.

thats probably because classics are almost affordable to the general riff raf of society now, they see loads of nice classics doing the rounds with "gucci" parts fitted but cant afford them themselfs so they just steal them :(
