Found a little bit of water in my rear and front passenger side floor. I have a 98 WRX. Do the seals need replacing?? Or does it need a full underseal.

Thanks

Jay

My late model Legacy has done exactly the same, I still have not found the problem. I have stripped the seats out and pulled the carpet and looked for signs of leaking eg mark etc and can't find anything.

Except my car is drivers side ( right hand drive )

Have you done anything about it??? I too have stripped the interior out and can't find a single place where the water is coming in. I sealed everything as a temporary measure to make sure that this doesn't happen, but checked again today and can feal some wet patches. Bloody doing my nut in!!

I had this in my 92 legacy on the passnegers side someone had kicked off an airconditioning hose which is situated in a place that makes it an easy target after finding the carpets soaked on the passengers side I finally tracked it down to the dissconnected pipe under the dash , mind you if you havnt got or havnt been using air con this will be out of the question just thought Id mention it ... cheers

Yep, I have Air Conditioning and I found a pipe dandeling in the front of the dash. There's also a large hole just above the passenger footwell, where the pipe is supposed to fit through. You can clearly see it from the engine bay.

Thanks

My car fills up with water just sitting outside in the rain. But does get worse if I am driving along.

have you got sunroofs, if so, have you checked the drainage tubes to make sure they do actually go out of the car and not flood the car floor?
also, feel if the headlining is wet, sunroofs do leak past the channels (especially legacy's).
