Classic car insurance - how old?

Does anyone know how old a car has to be to qualify for classic insurance?

25 years with the schemes we use, although there are also 'future classic' schemes for particular vehicles

isn't "Classic car" the same as a ltd mileage policy to all intents and purposes?

my 325 is covered on a classic policy with Lancaster. That's a 1988 reg. Also limited to 3000 miles a year but don't have to use any no claims.

Didn't know KM done classic policies Moley. Always handy to know. :thumb:

Cheers Gary, guess i'm just looking at old cars then, rather than classics :D

I have always thought (as Gary has said), certain cars can be classed as a Classic as soon as they roll off the production line, Morgans etc.

What you looking at Neil ?
