Drain it off asap! It could lead to broken piston rings amongst other things.
Just slacken off the drain plug and let a little run out past the bolt.....it will only take a few seconds and not worth the risk bud!

ive overfilled mine numerous times. it wont do any damage if youve only overfilled by half a litre or so. mines still just over the top hole now. i kinda prefer to run it like that. better just over than under
only if yove way over filled it will you see any damage. where is it on the stick? remember to check the engine stone cold otherwise if its warm it should be upto the notch above the two holes.

Just remember to much engine oil will also slowly circulate into your intercooler eventually leading to poor heat transfer. (this is for a minor overfill)

Remember they're expensive to fix so you can never be to safe....rebuilds are very expensive.
