TY754VBAAA - same box as JDM stiV/ Vi saloon box

4.44 front diff and 1:1 transfer gears so if you don't have a 4.44 rear diff you're in trouble ;)

UK classics for instance have 1.1:1 transfer gears so have different front to rear diff ratios. Most JDM cars have 1:1 but there are a whole variety of diff ratios. Have a look here The SPDA - Transmission Chart

Hopefully you're ok on that front, but, coincidentally, if you need, or fancy, a P1 rear 4.44 viscous lsd rear diff to match then Ive got one from my P1 sitting at Zen Performance for sale at a cheap price. If you need shafts etc then they are too and I chuck them in free with the diff.

I also have a 5 speed dccd centre diff up for sale too that I took off my P1 (it just bolts straight on to the back of the box instead of the 50:50 centre diff and gives a more rear wheel drive feel as its 65R: 35 F split) from when I had the 6 speed dccd put on the other day.

You can either leave it unwired and it then runs as 65% rwd all the time or you can use the OEM wiring or a neetronics controller if you fancy playing with the split.

sorry for all the questions guys. just dont want to be done, thats all

it's clear to see on the box casing - you can't miss it. But print out the transmission chart i've just posted above and take it with you if you want - that way you'll know exactly what you're getting

well, the box comes with the diff and prop. is that stamped to with the 4.44?
so i'll check the codes right.

if thats right. i can not see there being a problem with the diff.
thanks for the codes. if i do need anything i'll let you's know
thanks

Not certain, but I think I read somewher that the rear diff has its ratio stamped on its casing somewhere in integer fraction form i.e. for your P1 diff it should say "37/9" (= 4.111/1 i.e. 4.111:1 )

P1 diff is 4.44 not 4.11

Sorry FatBoy - yes of course it is :brickwall

So it should have "40/9" (if at all).

well, thanks for all the help guys.

picked it up today. it was in very good con too. only done 36k.
only paid 700 quid to. for the box, prop shafts. diff, + other bits for it to, as a bonus. it not long had the oil changed. so all i need to do is top it up

all i know need to do is, get it all fitted.
that should be fun.
