Oh yeah, I meant to say I was gonna get pink colouring but they didn't have any, nearly got red but thought feck it, I'm a bloke, I'm having blue! :D I used raspberry jam instead of apricot, chuffing rebel I am! :D
Marzipan is surprisingly hard to roll and then get off the board, hence it's a bit rough...first attempt though so I'm chuffed :) |
back when i was the deputy manager of a store i baked brownies for the guys once and it was one of the best motivational things i'd ever done in my management career.:lol1:

Bob. The idea of food colouring is that you buy a bottle and add a few drops at a time to get the colour you want. So. If you had bought the RED colouring, you just add a tiny drop to get pink. Or pale blue instead of indigo when using blue! ;) :p :lol1:

I did kinda figure that a little bit of red would go pink but like I said, I'm a bloke, I want blue...not only that but I'm a bloke on my own, will please myself, if I want a blue cake, I'll have a blue cake! :smug: :D

wow! what a fabulous thing to make. I think you should give public recognition to the person who enabled you to make such an oustanding work of art..but then again judging by the amount of blue food dye used, perhaps you shouldnt:lol1:
