Ok as for the Car info, i have a '97 WRC impreza prodrive converted (standard uk car i think, leather interior, shortened gear lever modified ECU (about 10 BHP extra i think) and a Scooby Back Box, have yet to decat the system after MOT of course :')

The Only mods on it i did today

Pipercross induction Kit and a Bailys Dumpvalve of a WRX, but now after fitting these i hear a strange dry sorta noise in the engine bay (after the dumpvalve rlses the air)it is near where my Turbo is but also where the Pipercross is,is this my turbo geting grief offa the pipercross and the Dumpvalve or is summat just vibrating? When i put on the pipercros kit before the dumpvalve there was no noise (apart from the air), this is worrying the fook outta me

Any info is appreciated, also any extra info or advice on extras i could do grately appreciated

hi mate, is it as soon as the valve dumps, then you hear a following noise which is like a pulsting noise? sort of like a warbling noise?
if so, its the pressurised air reversing over the turbo blades, and causes this noise. it does it anyway, its just now youve got the induction kit, the noise can be heard.
i had the same setup, bailey dump valve and p/c induction. i now have no dump valve and that warbling noise is now a hell of loud chattering, due to the higher pressure cutting over the blades.
