The BBC website classes it as a 'hard landing' rather than a crash :freak3:

The missus just said that too, "hardly a crash"
But try telling that to the people on the plane when the nose when THUD. Technically (FM can confirm) the fact that it didnt not land "correctly" and that some of the gear malfunctioned, causing damage and for it to be left stranded on the runway.... It would be a crash.

Hard is more a bounce, a drop or just rough.

Without wanting to play down the incident, every landing I've had there seems like a f**king crash landing!

Those 'city hopper' planes really take some abuse there, that's for sure.

On a geeky day at the airport in the summer I will agree that some of the landings of these planes are "hard"
We had many laughs at what it would be like to be on board one.

Got some good photos though lol

You'd have got a better photo on board of my 1st landing there....

The bloke next to me thought I was some sort of nutta when I pretty much jumped into his seat and cuddled him.. :o :o :lol1:

*Shrugs shoulders in stylish fashion* But I was only pretending. I knew it was safe. *Delboy head nod*

:D

lol classy moment then.
Sounds like my mate on a flight years ago. We were seated opposite a rather attractive stewardess. She was sitting down for a moment, Steve was asleep, the plane bumped on some turbulance, and he FLEW out of his seat in a mad panic. Drempt he was falling. And let out a little scream.....

She was in hysterics lol

They've now found a crack in a window of this plane.

Have to admit, I think that airport is on borrowed time before a big f**k up happens.

Hard landings there seem to be quite regular, and they've only got away with it because the planes landing there have stood up to the abuse....

Bouncy Bouncy
