Another New York Plane Crash
 

Unfortunately it doesn't look like any survivors this time. :(

It looks like it came down and hit a house near Buffalo, New York State. Hopefully there wont be to many casualties on the ground.

49 dead, one of those in the house that was hit.

Weather was bad at the time, heavy snow, and the plane was over 90 mins late. I wonder if this was an icing issue?

Thoughts to all those who have lost loved ones.

Technically the other one could have been New Jersey.

Tragic, yet in the same breath amazing incident.
Reports suggest it came down sharp, only hitting minimal houses.

Thoughts are with the families.
Have seen that one of the victims was widowed by 9/11.... That must be SO tough on the families.

Can we keep to the topic at hand and:

a) Not make inappropriate remarks at this sensitive time
b) Not start throwing insults at those whose comments you find objectionable: RTM!!

I could, of course, re-instate the posts and infract the individual who made the insensitive remark, and those who insulted the individual that made the comment, which would include you! ;)

I was however, rather hoping that this thread would amount to more than an infraction fest at this early stage in its life!

Not sure whats gone on here, but that seems fair enough NS04. :)

Moving on, it seems like it could have been a lot worse. People in the surrounding areas have had a lucky escape it seems.

My comment was probably unnecessary, but the comment it was directed at was offensive.

My aunty lives in Buffalo (but also lives over the border too), but not sure how close she was to the incident
