~£1000 car time.. your opinions please!
 

Hey guys,

Finally talking about moving out with the other half and am thinking of selling on my mk4 golf gti turbo and buying something around a grand for fun.

Currently and for the forseabel future I need somethine to play about with after work and on days off. I dont need it for commuting but it will be used occasionally for commuting AND it needs to fit at least two MTBs in the back im not a fan off roof bars)

Its also got to be sporty and fun -

Ive narrowed it down to...

Pug 306 gti6
Xsara VTS
Mk3 Golf Gti 16v/Vr6
Rover Coupe Turbo ( although bikes are a squeeze and they rust)

Ive actually had most of these cars in the past so I thought Id listen to others opinions. I do all my own work so servicing costs aren;t really an issue and mpg isnt an issue either.

Mk3 golf without a second thought. In fact if you are lucky a nice MK2 might be as much fun.
