how to harden natural rubber?
 
have a sheet of natural rubber and would like to harden it doesnt have to completly stiffen it just toughin it abit so its not as floppy as its for a set of mudflaps any body know how to do this or any advice? like using a product like plastidip or hcf apply it on and see if the coat of them will stiffen the rubber? :confused:

When messing with flaps.... we tend to rivet a small strip of steel to one edge and that will give you a stiffie..

If you are really struggling you could try a double dose, one down each side. That should get it really stiff.
