Wanted Decat Centre section for 04 sti
 

Im looking for a decat centre section exhaust to fit a prodrive back box on a 2004 plate STI. Can anyone help :wonder:

don't know if you've just damaged your centre section matey, but the centre section on your car doesn't have a cat in.

So what is the box section in the centre pipe for if is not a cat?

its the resonator matey, just a type of silencer. I bought a de resonated centre from H&S just because it gives your car a better sound. I think it gives a performance gain of around 1-2bhp:lol1:

Hi guys just reading this thread as im having my cntr decat pipe fitted today is there any mileage in having the resinator removed aswell
im having it done at pipecraft in basildon and im sure dean there will be able to chop this section out and replace it with a bit of pipe

will it be ok
will it be louder
will it make any difference in the running not performance as ive read its minimal but dont want it to run crappy
