Hi guys,

This is a version 9 sti 2.5
I hope its no problem but when reversing the car and moving forward from a cold start the diff or prop or something seems to clunk, the seller said it was normal but I just wanted to make sure???

These have DCCD right? Do they have manual adjustment? If so then it's prob in manual mode and the rear/front axles locked together - this causes those symptoms.

Not sure about v.9 but there should be an indicator in the centre of the dash with 6 or so lights. If the top ones is lit and is orange, then this is the reason for the situation above. You need to roll back the thumbwheel by the handbrake so that it's on the bottom, or penultimate, green light. You should use this setting in anything other than slippy surfaces. I think, also, the v.9 has an auto setting for the DCCD - stick it on that mode and forget, for optimal usage of DCCD...
