CoD WAW driving me nuts!
 

I have just opened and inserted CoD WAW into my PS3.

It said it needed to load the latest update and started doing it.

The update failed and the game started. If I try and play it every minute or two it tries to update again. I have tried updating about five times and it gets as far as between 8-28% and then fails.

Is this common? Can I stop it trying to update?

You playing it wireless or wired?

I hate wireless its to unpredictable - wired is spot on in all games

If you are just playing the single player campaign, just disable your internet connection and won't try to update.

Good point Geezer. I am playing it on my own at the moment.

Looks like an amazing game. The graphics are stunning.

It certainly is. Just make sure you get your connection sorted by the time you finish the single player mode, 'cos when you unlock Zombie mode, you'll want to play online! :thumb:

i love playing the zombies, what your highest level you been? yesterday i got to level 19 :D then i got jumped by the zombies:norty:

I love the Zombies, it's so much fun. Have a go at the special weapon chest, my random weapon was a ray gun. It cuts them to peices.

Level 19 too. You ideally need someone with a flame thrower and at least one with the ray gun.

Use the exploit upstairs so the zombies can't get you, and have the others protect the window and you can go on and on!

Treyarch have announced their first DLC for COD:WAW

It includes 3 new multiplayer maps, and one new Zombie one. The zombie level features new weapons, perks via the addition of 'Perks-a-cola' machines, whatever they are, and electroshock defences.

Sounds good!
