6 year old thread bump...gotta love it.

Presumably at that price it is only a front face re-furb ? Even at that, not expensive at all

No, That's the cost for painting a full wheel with Max Meyer 2K finish. Mallusk Blast and Painting services. 028 9083 3628.........028 9084 8199

Alloy Wheel Repairs NI review

Has anyone had alloys refurbed by Alloy Wheel Repairs NI in Carrowreagh Road, Dundonald?

I have minor kerb damage to a diamond cut Audi OEM wheel and they've quoted me £75+vat for a full face repair. 2 days: deflate and push back tyre, re-machine front face, then polish? and lacquer.

Seems like they know what they're doing but would like any feedback anyone has before committing.
:wonder:

Really old thread I know.
What are the prices like in today's money.

ustolemyname??stevieturbo 07 August 2017 10:56 AM

They're still up the money...but depends on the sort of job you want. They are first class.

For cheaper, the likes of IC Powdercoaters in N'ards to good work, or Cobra Customs near Ballymena ?

They're at the cheaper end and mostly basic re-furbs, but think you need to take them bare wheels, no tyres.

Cheers, a friend is looking a refurb done on a set of used alloys he purchased.
He's pretty young, and looking as low cost a possible.

Try either IC or Cobra then if they're local.

Or maybe Lester in Lisburn ? Another name that comes up on RMS is MJ something or other in Cookstown.

Facebook nearly as good a place to search as any these days to see their work etc.
