Performance Friction have a great reputation, but i admit i don't have them myself.

Someone will be along in a mo to tell you how good they are.

If you want the best, fit Performance Friction.

Will result in a great brake setup for both road and track.

Depends on how much money you have to spend really, £2000 or £400? I didn't have the money at the time but I would of gone for the Performance Friction discs and pads.

In the end I went with standard front discs, Pagid pads, 5.1 brake fluid, braided hoses and a brake master cylinder stopper (prevents the brake master cylinder flexing under hard braking). Cost me £400 delivered in total and yes I'm happy with the results :thumb:.

When the discs and pads are shot I'll probably go with the Performance Friction set up. By the way my car is also a 05 STI with PPP.

Wolfie.

If i was to buy some performance friction discs would i need to buy new pads. I only had some yellowstuff pads fitted about a month ago but i think the standard discs are warped.

Aztec Performance Ltd 27 January 2009 02:30 PM

So long as the pads are evenly worn, then they would be fine.

We can supply the front discs and bells for £499 the pair. A big saving on the usual prices.

You won't be disappointed :thumb:

To give you another two options , I can supply you our one piece grooved discs for £145 a pair , or our 2 piece discs and bells for £295 a pair , P&P is £15 .

I offer a 12 month guarantee against them warping even if you do track days , which no one else will do.
Cheers Ian
