Please help possible boost problem

Hi there guys i have a my00 uk2000 and its got a down-pipe back exhaust and had an ecutek remap buy Clive Athoway tuning. The following modifications were done buy the previous owner. When driving it recently i have been experiencing like a hesitation in the throttle. When you put your foot down it takes off then it feels like it drops off boost for a couple of seconds then comes back on. When doing this at much higher speeds it feels as tho ive put the breaks on. The ecutek monitor has read my peak boost at 1.49 bar now i would have thought that this was way too high for the standard turbo?? Oh and it was rolling roaded at 250-Bhp

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this ????? Knackerd maff, solenoid or just poor mapping.

Cheers guys

i had a similar problem on uk my98,i was able to locate the prob through the self diognostic(dont think yours has the flashing light trick?).I think on the my00 you should be able to read error codes via a simple obd reader like the kwp2000(not sure if this is the case with non factory ecu's?)Anyway my prob was the maf, which i didnt have to replace,,i just re-soldered the 4 pins which had been corroded and not making propper contact
