boost increase on myterzo

hi i have a few questions about boost and my car,and would be greatful for any advice.

my car is a impreza terzo which i belive has the same engine as the uk turbo and 208-215bhp i was also led to belive that the factory boost was 0.8bar?can anyone confirm this,i did just fit a gauge and im running 1.0bar and is running smoother and pulling well(found a split pipe during gauge install)

i was looking into remaps and after some reading i discover early my98's have the obd connector but also have the black'n green blocks for ecu reset, does this mean my ecu (S8) cant be done?or is there a piggybak as per pre my96's??
Also i have a bleed valve a was pondering putting this on just to maybe raise boost to 1.2ish,i know that ideally you should ajust fuel according to any boost changes, but will this matter if im only increasing by a couple of clicks?

Regards Rich

Your ECU can't be mapped. I had to have an Apexi ECU fitted. Massive improvement when mapped for the exhaust etc though.

cheers TerzoAlan,,i thought maybe there might be a piccybak/replacement chip available now,and tis not cheap for the liks of a link or apexi ect...i know they're worth getting so i'll have to start saving i guess.

That's exactly what I did - saved!

I'm not keen on chips on Subarus, but that's just my opinion. There are other people on here who probs think they are great.
