It looks mint mate, it is spotlessly clean - looks like an F1 garage lol

Knowing Mark, he will keep it that way too. No corners cut anywhere.

Everyone get down there, free Tea and Coffee while you wait too, and a leather sofa

Thank you for the above words

I’m sure when mark reads it he will be very happy. he's worked very hard over the past 6 months making this happen and he couldn’t have done it without the support of others on this forum, so thank you for your continued support.

Is this in addition to or a replacement for the Coventry unit? If you've moved, you need to update your website! :thumb:

jsh1 19 January 2009 12:28 PM

Here is a photo from the new workshop so you guys can see it.

NXG - In answer to your question, Mark has moved to Warwick now, I am sure he is on the case with the website.

Thwaites is double the journey from me now but always well worth it, very reasonably priced and makes me so happy owning this car, i dont think any other tuning company could have got me as far as im getting, value for money and professional scooby specialist, thats a guarantee,, as long as mark is around,,, im always going to have a scoob :)

Thanks for today :thumb:

averyp2 19 January 2009 10:46 PM

My cars been down there today for a good old pampering, Mark managed to get loads of bits done and now it feels like a different car :D
Bits I had done included:
-Cambelt replaced , found that my rollers were mashed so managed to source some good replacements quicktime
- Full service, which the car really needed
- Replaced my front brake pads with Subaru jobbies as my old ones were squeeking
- Fitted a new gear gaitor spring as mine had gone walkies and the gearstick was left loose to the left :Suspiciou
- Siliconed up my leaking rear light unit
- Fitted my Polar Performance Chip
- Fitted some replacement doorcards
- Most importantly, gotta cup of coffee :lol1:

A quick test to check all was ok and I was away, with a big smile on my face! :thumb:

Bloody typical ey? Is that a local car, certainly stands out with the yellow wheels!?
By the way, gave the car some stick yesterday to test out the polar performance chip. It certainly works very nicely, although the new brake pads may have taken a bit of abuse :norty:

Saw a blue Type R with Thwaites Developments at Nuneaton McDonalds last week, I wondered who the tuning company was!!!!

The owner looked like he was enjoying his McDonalds anyway!!!!:D

Might pop down to have a look soon, need a cambelt change!!!!!! :thumb:

BIG FUD 25 January 2009 09:47 PM

Untill today ive never heard of this company is it new or have i just been blind,Heard some good comments today about them its hard to move from a company your happy with though.....

zedy 26 January 2009 01:03 AM

Big man i told u bout mark wen i came down urs rememba??!!

U saw the badge on the bak of my car right?? wen we went on the tunnel run too. I think no one was paying attention,, all eyes were on ur awesome type r :)

The workshop is new but the mans knowledge and workmanship are second to none.

My car is totally transformed, new turbo, injectors, mapped- fueling bang on, etc etc :notworthy

need bigger brakes now,,, it dont wana stop :lol1:

brakes next, ported headers, lightened pulleys, etc etc NOT forgetting that chrome rear diff guard  they look awesome

i broke down once wen my rad hose split, i was worried about air locks and stuff, i got aa to take me straight to Thwaites, mark was working on another customers car installing a hydra ecu at the time, but still got me running and out, this was at 6-7pm,, no one else wud have done this plus he didnt charge me!!!

Enough respect to him!!

BIG FUD 26 January 2009 09:34 AM

Zedy you sound another happy customer how much is labour per hr ?
Also where was you yesterday you missed my meet was great 43 cars turned up ....

zedy 26 January 2009 05:44 PM

geeza i was at work,,, unfortunately,, lol

regarding labour, cheaper than tsl, rcm, api, zen, scoobyclinic,, all of em even subaru 4 you.

cambelt change £145 plus vat i think, clutch £340 or something exedy stage 2, someone correct me if im wrong. These are offers though.

When i had my timing belt done Thwaites were cheaper than everyone else plus fixed my oil leak from crank seal :luxhello:

Perfectionist,, takes a lot of pride in his work.

chris_wrx 26 January 2009 06:14 PM

labour is 37.50 all in will have to dig out my reciept for sure

averyp2 26 January 2009 06:24 PM

Yer i think your right Chris.

Cambelts are £145 at the mo, cracking deal, got mine done last Tuesday.

I think because its a relatively small scale business you get a proper service and an attention to detail that others dont always or cant offer, thats what I like about the place.
