classic rear bumper removal
 
Gona remove mine tonight, can anyone tell me how. Ive done a search but my stupid work computer filters alot of the links etc...

From memory, you'll have to remove the rear lights, as there are a couple of bolts under them.

there are 6 "3 at each side" 17mm bolts going through the chassis legs underneath into the bumper bar brackets, then depending on age earler classics have 10mm bolts at the end of bumper sides going into 1/4 panel just at end of wheel arch, later models have plastic clips you have to unscrew middle screw with a screwdriver, next there are 2 10mm bolts going through the lip edge of back panel in the centre"directly below numberplate", finally remove centre trim in the boot over back panel" couple of plastic clips etc" to get to wire connectors for number plate lights then push gromits on wires out with cables, hope this makes sense and helps..

do not try removing rear lights to get to the row of plastic clips on top as removing lights is a messy nightmare and possably not seal up correctly when refitted causing water ingress, although can be removed this way better to remove the bumper bar with it..
