Have I priced my Scoob on the low side?

I've been toying with the idea of selling my 98 STi Type R and so far - I've been offered swaps of all sorts but nothing of interest really.

It's got 81k, in WR Blue, new engine at 68k, P1 wheels etc etc.

Looking at some of the others up for sale, £6k seems cheap. But personally I think it's fairly priced given that it needs a small bit of paint (the roof).

I don't want to do myself out of cash but just wanted your thoughts as I feel if I'm pricing it low then it might put people off too?

Or am I speaking sh1te and there's too many dreamers wanting mega money?

Cheers

Joel

I dont think its too cheap. A quick search in my area on the trader and there are a few less than 6k.
In today's economic climate you could put it up for 4k and still struggle to sell.

I thought it was a fair price given the amount I've spent getting it as close to perfect as I could.

No rush to sell, I was more worried about putting people off if they thought it was cheap.

I see V3's for sale at the £6k mark all the time and I think they're mad!

Cheers for the feedback.

Rang one up today that sold for £4k, someone picked up a v4/v5 type r for 4.5k the other day.

Doesn't matter how much you spend making it perfect, you'll never get the money back.
I've had a new engine, gearbox. got all little bits and pieces. Plus buying the car in the first place.
Probably not worth hardly anything now. And as said above cars aren't selling at the moment, as no one knows whats going on.
