Can anyone identify this headunit?
Had this double din unit in when I bought the car. Been having problems with in lately and just want to know what it is so I can find out more info about it.
http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3.../Photo0208.jpg Got no bass and I'm sure theres a loose connection somewhere as occasionallly when I go over a bump it starts crackling. If anyone could shed some light I'd very much appreciate it, thanks. Jon |
Ahh found it! it appears to be a Pyle PLDTV-VN65....never heard of this brand:wonder:
I don't think it's a very popular model lol. Anyway, from looking at this drawing, would this be easy to slide out? thanks. http://us.st12.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c...2027_286412204 |
yeah its a pyle.... (of **** unfortunately)
It's more likely to be bolted in so you will need to remove the centre panel of the dash to gain access to the bolts. |
Agreed. Most Jap cars don't tend to cater for ISO cages. Been reading up about this no brand/not heard of branded DVD players, and from what i am reading they don't have much of a life span on them
Just purchased a Kenwood DVR-555DVD system for my Daihatsu and ended up taking the facia off, luckily I have an ISO power connector, but could not fit the ISO cage, instead it's bolted intot he surround. Hopefully a branded stereo will last a couple of years and not a couple of days :( |
Lol, think I'll have to invest in a better unit soon then. Thanks for the feedback guys.
