**URGENT HELP REQUIRED** - FUEL PUMP QUESTION!
 

Hi all,

In the process of changing my fuel pump on my Ver3 STI.
Hoping someone can help me, I have now removed the old pump and cage and have noticed that the Walbro 255 pump that I have is smaller in size than the original on the car :confused:

Is this normal or do I have the wrong part? It was ordered from scoobyparts.com so would of thought it should be OK.

Any help and quick responses much appreciated.

On the pump there should be a stamp saying GSS-342 or GSS-341 (the latter will fit but requires bending of the pipe and is really for the new age cars).

If it says that you have the right one.

Recently had mine changed on my 93 wrx, that was smaller too so hopefully you have the right one.
