I hope they catch the scumbags!
A reward of £50,000 has been offered by the Post Office to catch the killers of a village sub-postmaster's son.
Craig Hodson-Walker, 29, was shot in the chest and his father, Ken, 56, was shot in the leg during the raid at the store in Fairfield, Worcestershire. Police believe three men went into Fairfield General Stores on Stourbridge Road with a handgun and sledgehammer while a fourth drove the getaway car. Why do some people think they can take things from those who choose to work hard for it?? BBC NEWS | England | Hereford/Worcs | Reward over post office shooting |
Pure selfishness I think, when they are caught they should get a really stinging penalty that they wioll never forget and might just deter a few others too. Those are the reasons for penalties as far as I remember.
It is long past time when the authorities started to get a grip and did something to stop this sort of dreadful violence and all the other crimes. Les :( |
I don't understand why they killed him .. they've gone from 10 years to 25 years ...
Why not just shoot him in the leg like his dad ? surely thats enough to scare him into doing whatever they wanted ? All this bullet proof glass and such is no use, when the shop is filled with hostage's ! |
If the evil people who did this knew they would be hung when they are caught.
And I say when not if. Then they may have still gone ahead with the theft but it is unlikely that they would have murdered someone. 'Life' these days can mean as little as 8 years. That is not 'Life'. |
Its not far from where I live. I went to drive through today and the road is still closed off.
Terrible thing to happen. I have a suspicion that they may not be caught either :( |
