|
How big are the wings on them?
|

For a 'proper' flying jacket, the only one worth considering is the Irvin original:

You put it on and there’s no question that you’re part of something special. Dont make me laugh :D |
Like a bright blue and yellow subaru jacket :norty:

Each jacket should come with a tash and a black labrador. |
Those biggles jackets are ok on a really cold winter day.
For more all round use, I prefer a US AAF A-2 jacket. There are even a few original WW2 ones around. Aero Leather Aero leather also has an official contract to supply new A-2 jackets to the original spec. They can even include a WW2 era zipper. military flight jackets I got an M-A1 flight jacket when I was detachment to the USAF in 1980. |
The USAF ones are good, including the modern ones-very smart. We spent ages trying to get them for ourselves with what we though were suitable swaps but never succeeded.
I think there is a suitable leather jacket approved for RAF wear now but you have to buy it, they won't issue it I hear. Les |
