ANY VW GOLF EXPERTS IN HERE?
 
Can anyone give me any details on a 2.0 litre engine code ADY in MK2 Golf GTI - BHP, torque etc

It was a rebuilt engine by Grant motorsport and trying to find out info on it

Any info appreciated

This is the car - it's my mates Volkswagen : VW Golf GTI Mk2 (8v) 2.0 Litre upgrade 63000 miles

Id say from experience your looking at 170 BHP from that if its been built properly and bomb proof reliability

I had a mk2 with a standard 2 litre tall block in it and when I got shut of it to a mate the engine was cracking on for 200K miles

It will fly and the 8v engines dont need to be tortured to get em to go either

I don't know if you were after standard spec but if youare thay are
ady = 85kw 115hp 2,000cc 4cyl from vw tech data
