Oh Great, Somalia keeps phoning my mobile

Yes someone with a +252 number keeps calling my phone, ringing off etc - assuming here they are expecting me to call them back.

Its getting tedious now, is there anyway of call barring this? I'm on Vodafone if that matters.

Grrrrr

Probably one of those pesky Somalian pirates

Maybe theyre trying to sell you some cheap oil? :D

jacrobat 07 January 2009 09:47 AM

Or a cheap oil tanker..only 1 careless owner

How random is that!
Some phones you can just put the number into a group and set it not to accept calls from that group. Otherwise call your provider, im sure they can do something.

I would ring up straight away, this happened to me last week and the guy said he had £10,000 that needed transfered to my bank account as i somehow entered the Somali-lottery and won!:D

Unfortunately the same day someone gained access to my account and cleaned me out including my £10,000:( TYPICAL! Luckily enough when a rang the guy back after this he felt sorry for me and said they could transfer the money to my credit card if i passed on my details:D

:wonder:

SCAM!!!

Don't call the number back as it will charge you so much moneys it's unreal.

There is also uk mobile looking numbers that do the same. they prang you by calling once ring then wait for "MR MUG" to call back then it tells you to wait while listening to crappy music or some spill then while your doing that its raping you big style!

Ring your provider and get the number blocked!

Just been in touch with Vodafone and according to them they cannot block the number.

I haven't got the option to bar groups on my phone.

Googled the number and nothing comes up, not happy!
