Dunno how hard it would be taking the lights apart though

Have a look for Light Werkz. They are baed in the US and they do it for you. Any colour, pretty much whatever you like. Cost lots of ££££££'s but they look really good.

These pics really make me think hard about taking the STI spolier off. Some very stunning pics there.

Hell no.. those are the real deal Volk TE37's nearly every other GTR Skyline has them fitted. God i wish i saved an extra 1k to get those.... ah bugger i spent that on suspension bits yesterday.

zero260 06 January 2009 08:11 PM

They are not the Volks or the Atec's, they are the new Rota Grids in 10x18.:thumb:

The TE37's were copied by Inovit??? some time back, I cant remember, but I do remember Volk not being to pleased and the copies not being available for very long. If Rota have copied them then they have made an identical copy, I wouldnt like to be in rota's shoes....

TE37s are fitted to most of the cars in the few pics above, including that WRB wagon blob.

Neil.. 06 January 2009 08:58 PM

Aren't Rota's a bit like cheaper versions of Volks...? :wonder:

The yank thing though is an awesome look...;) :D

Here you go Rob, I have been following his thread over on Nasioc:

Forget what she told you......size does matter! - NASIOC

If you check out the sooper aggressive wheel thread on that site you will find pics of all the other cars running on the Grids. The wheels are copies of the TE37's but the Americans seem to be mad on the rotas over there.

"Soon to be comming to a Spec C near you" ;)

Bockett 06 January 2009 09:51 PM

Yeh they're mad on the Rota's
Been on the site over there for a while now. Just trying to get some aggressive wheels for mine and in talks with a supplier over there.

just hope there is no huge increase of people taking spoilers off and going aggressive. Nice to be different.:(

You can't do that to a Spec C. It's for show queens only :nono:

Harryr34 06 January 2009 09:56 PM

I need wide crazy offset wheels :norty:

There has been many a company to copy a big name manufacturer wheel but they have always made obvious changes that distinguish the two. Rota have blatantly copied the TE37 wheel like for like. I cant see the difference between a genuine and that copy.. If i owned Volk i'd have them down the pan for that.

mystic_magic 06 January 2009 11:18 PM

A lot of photoshopped pics, they do all look good though. Wish i knew how to use it :(

Alright alright, not " the wrong fitment crew", but "the slightly wrong fitment crew"!!!:lol1:

Seriously though keep my 17" Sti's with RE070's etc for track & maybe some 18x8.5 on 245/40/18 tyres with approx 40 to 42mm offset for daily poncing about use & posing with MSOC?? :D

Let me know how you get on with finding some.

Tried everywhere for 5x100 over here and getting no where. Having to go through importing from America.
