speed limiter

 how do i go about removing this?

are the hks sld's anygood?
aso it says that they fool the car into believing its going slower than it actually is! does this mean the speedo its self would be out?

cheers matt

All you need is a mechanical speedo converter about £80 and sticker to go over the k of the kmh.
The speedo will now read in mph.

Another option is PolarPerformance chip as it will remove the limiter and increase the boost plenty of people have been impressed by the gains for the price.

cool do the standard ecus already have the socket to plug it into? so its just a case of whip ecu out open it up and insert the chip?

madmattwrx 01 January 2009 11:47 PM

also does this mean i can keep my standard clocks and it will read in mph or will it still be in kmph

myblackwrx 01 January 2009 11:57 PM

standard ecus don't have a socket but one comes with the chip.
I think there are instructions on the website.
And i would guess it would read in mph best thing to do is to send him an email for more info.
