Engine Check Light Flashing
Was tidying up some of the wires behine the dash on the scooby today when i noticed that there were 2 green plugs that had came disconected from each other.
They are around the fuse box area, and are of a T shape with 2 wires, carnt remember the colours. Due to the dirt in the plugs they have been diconected for some time. I pluged them back together and now the engine check light flashes as soon as the cars moves more than a few feet. I have an PSI ECU Data Monitor and went into that to see if there were any fault codes but nothing. Car runs fine still, everything still works. I have now disconected the plug and the check light no longer flashes. Any idea to what is up here? Cheers Andy |
They aren't meant to be connected as they are the Test Mode connectors.
If they flash steadily indicates there are no error codes hence why your Data Monitor doesn't pick up and codes |

Thanks ever so much for that chaps
