Sounds like a plan mate.

You'll be hooked once you come flying with us i promise. Not to mention the park being on your doorstep and you'll get much much fitter whilst having a whole heap of fun.

I've got a few resolutions this year, and after last year I'm deadly serious about ALL of them!!

Giving up smoking
Loosing weight and getting fit (looking at punch bags for my garage at the mo)
Learning a new trade such as Electrician, CORGI, rent boy etc...
Getting out more and meeting people......especially ladies :D

Hopefully '09 will be better than '08 for me :brickwall

Stopped smoking (30 a day habbit) on the chimes of Big Ben NYE, gone cold turkey with it. and well ----       <- thats how I feel.

Part 2 is weight loss and fitness, which can't be done till the smoking is history, I reckon I might crack it this time, its been 36 hours and 12 mins so far. :D

LOL - not that your counting tho eh?
I gave up smoking about 7 years ago now - and although I don't think i ever really "craved" it - even when i go out now, i still feel tho somethings missing!!

On the plus side - I can smell and taste SO much better - and the smell of smokiing makes me heave now! :D

cookstar 02 January 2009 01:03 PM

37 hours and 8 mins now. :D

I gave up once before years ago, for almost a year and got quite fit, then :brickwall

About 17 years, 38 1/2 hours for me! :D

Keep it up, it does get easier with time, first few weeks / months are the worst.
