few questions about upgraded running gear??
 

ok first question is if you fit a diff and box with different ratios what will happen?? any damage?? i think i might have this problem and get nasty vibrations at higher revs on full load.

i have a spare diff to swap if this is the problem................

which brings me onto my next question, the diff i will be removing is from a k plate ra, i will be planning to swap the diffs around on my cars and stick a 6 speed box onto the ra diff provided its not fcuk and just the fact the ratios are different................


hope this makes sense and can someone tell me how can i tell what diff i have?? need to make sure the diff is the right ratio and not damaged.

DO NOT fit a centre diff (in the 'box) that is a different ratio to the rear diff - or vice versa.. You'll trash the transmission.
