1.8 spitting flames, is it possible

as title would a 1.8 be able to spit flames with de-cat?
what about if it were remapped?

i know 1.6s pop a tiny bit but a mate is buying a 1.8 and asked if it was possible

no not unless hes got a fuel pressure regulator turnt up over the top and a flamer kit, my sons got a 1.8 golf and at shows he turns the fuel regulator all the way up with a flamer kit makes bout 2 foot flames but thats with full custom decat exhaust with only one baffle at the end. my scoob 2.0 turbo does it piece if p*ss though with decated exhaust
