Quick Help. Oil Pressure Adapter Fitting

Hi,

From the guides ive seen most people mount the tpiece with the dual ported metal chunk outside near the HT Leads. This means the original sensor isnt close enough to the sesor wire and so cannot be used.

Has anyone any pics of their install? Anyone put the big metal bit under the alternator?

**** sake. Put the adapter onto the other adapter the the thread destroyed itself.

Didnt use any/much force at all. Bearly more than finger tight.

Ahh well. Onto the Temp Sensor.

New One ordered. Next time wont use PTFE and will only do it semi tight. If it starts leaking not the end of the world having to tighten it.

I have a litte question :wonder:

Are the oilpress sensor smaller on the "Prosport" gauge, than on the "Auto gauge"? I have Auto gauge on my car now, but the oil press sensor are to big to be fitted :( So if the Prosport oilpress sensor fits, i will buy it instead of messing around with the Auto gauge.

Thanks

No idea about auto gauge. https://www.scoobynet.com/interior-1...ure-boost.html

Look at my pics on here. The OP sensor is quite small. Might even be able to connect without the extension lead, just a good adapter.

Well impressed with the gauges, the way its all made and fitted.

Careful of the tapered threads on everything :)

Is the pressure sensor:

It about 7-8times smaller than the Autogauge. I did'nt want to use that fitting kit. I would rather just mount it instead of the original one. And the sensor from Auto Gauge was to big to fit under the dynamo.
