ive just fitted three defi guages myself. oil temp, oil press and boost. my oil temp sensor went into the top of no.3 cylinder under the intercooler. using the adaptor from scoobyparts, that replaces the bung. dunno if swoosh will use the same as defi tho. :wonder:

I assume your gauge has a sender? If so, you'll need an adaptor to fit it into the tapping on top of No. 3 cylinder, (which is at the rear, driver's side;)). Adaptors from Scoobyparts, Scoobymania, etc

A LONG 8mm Allen, (hex) key is needed to remove the blanking plug, you need to put PTFE tape around the threads to help seal, and the whole job is dead easy if you remove the intercooler first;)

is this what i need?

Scoobyparts Ltd OIL PRESSURE & OIL TEMPERATURE GAUGE FITTING KIT

That will make the job easier, but you will still need a sender. I'm presuming it's an electrical pressure gauge ( not mechanical ) ?

You only need the far cheaper oil temperature fitting adaptor........unless there's an o/p gauge to fit too?

I'm sure they will give you a price for that, otherwise, Scoobymania wil.;)
